Power Automate- Attachment File Size Limit Exceeded Error

When you are running attachment with approval flow, you may encounter the following error

BadRequest. The request failed. Error code: 'CdsApiAttachmentSizeLimitExceeded'. Error Message: 'Attachment file size limit exceeded. Please contact your admin to make sure the limit is properly configured (The default is 5MB).'.

Solution:

You can quickly solve the above error by following the below steps

1. Go to the Power Platform Admin Centre: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/
2. Choose the right environment. Note: Make sure you have the System Administrator role in the environment
3. Click Settings on the top. Under Email> Email Settings
4. Under Attachments Increase the file size as per your need.

Ex: I have increased the attachment size to 55 MB

5. Hit save and wait for five minutes

If you can, retry the Power Automate flow. The error should be gone.
